    The shock body on a “standard” will be larger than the monotube high pressure nitrogen charged. The nitrogen charged Bilstein will be firmer more controlled.

    Do you have stock and aux mounts? I went from duals to single 5125’s I have a 3 1/2” lift Top of axle tube to bump stop mount is 12” stock is 8 1/2”

    What lift did you use? Did you measure to see if its true 2" from tope of tube to bottom bumpstop bracket my TC was 3" It took me a while to get the steering I wanted finally got it for push pull since under the 4" lift

    Once you get your springs if still too spongy spend the money on correct valve shocks made big difference for me.(different application) but relevant. I had to get Bilstein 5125 360/80 valving to work with my 1/2 ton Jimmy the 255/70 valving was exactly too boatey wallowy loose soft
