    2 post shop lift

My friends dad built a new shop a few years ago and added in a single post lift. He had the cylinder repacked and put it in. It's so cool lol. I remember seeing it laying on the ground before it was refurbished. They show one being used in the tucker movie. Out here on one of our back roads...

    2 post shop lift

I'm looking at lifts to make life allot easier. I've been thinking of a 14,000# 2 post because there's more working room and I still want to be able to put a 4 door long bed truck weighing 9,000# is that safe? Maybe with a support stand under the receiver. Seen that done. Thoughts? The 4 post I...

700r4/NP208 wont shift into 4lo or out of neutral

Sounds like you're trying it right by putting trans in neutral. Does your truck idle high? Maybe it's got too much kinetic energy spinning things from idling high?

Any cb’s that would fit in the radio slot?

Couldn't a regular phone hand set from the period work and be wired into any cb? I've got one or two 70s rotary phones.

    Converting to single tank

New hoses to bypass selector valve and wire the gauge wire to that tank only. There's wire diagrams on our site somewhere and that should help wire the gauge up, unless you just leave it alone and let it work how it's been working. Either way the selector valve should be bypassed to eliminate...

    Where's the weld(s)?

Someone on here knows but I don't believe it was supposed to be welded. They used a special bonding glue. I used to know what it's called but it basically comes out of a calking gun.

    4L80E fresh rebuild, no reverse.

I tried reading through this and watched the first video. It's over my head lol. Maybe manual swap. I get frustrated with automatic transmissions because I'm so old school and want things to shift when they should so I gravitate to manuals. I really hope you figure it our and get it fixed up...
