All Lights are Pulsating
What do you guys think....ALL lights in my 87 V1500 have a very slight but noticeable pulsation; headlights, dome light, etc. The pulsing does not go fast or slower as I rev the engine, its just a constant slow rolling pulse. The battery is 12 months old and cranks the engine very well, clean...- pgnavy

NP208 Speedo Driven Gear Needed
Good news - the new 44 tooth gear got me to 1MPH accuracy. I suppose the important learning is to measure the tire diameter while on the truck, on the ground. The difference in manufacture claimed diameter (30.5) was off by 2", (28.5). What perplexes me is the GM parts book says I need 42...- pgnavy

As promised, an update.... I have a GREEN driven gear(42 tooth), and a BLUE Drive gear(18) in my NP208C (OE according to my GM parts book). heater core
My friend replaced his leaking copper core, with aluminum, and the heat was TERRIBLE. He replaced the aluminum with a new copper core and it made a significant difference and now heats properly. Keep in mind it gets to 10 degrees somewhat regularly in upstate NY. His '87 c20, no AC, worked...- pgnavy
