What have you done to your square lately??

I moved the Squares and F-s around so that I could clean up. Dang "daylight savings" has us dark before 6PM now; what a stinker.

What have you done to your square lately??

Fiddle-fartin' with this '82 GMC grille. 3M structural adhesive & threaded rod, along with a donor '87 grille that also was busted. Maybe it'll look better than the beginning product.

    Full removable top conversion

I just sold a '74 that used a '77 tub. The windshield pillars had been grafted and the rear roof of the cab removed. It worked and was not that noticeable. I wish they had used a newer tub that actually had floor relief for people's feet. I believe that was started in '78 though. Welcome to the...

    poor intro better question

Welcome from Central NC. Those nylon tooth coverings tend to jettison from the gears & find their way to the strainer. Does wonders for variable timing as well! HS

    K20 Wheel/Tire Confirmation

Trying to find some 16.5's that aren't 36+ is going to be difficult. I'd keep an eye out for some 16's & 265-285 range tires. They'll probably be 20 years newer than any 16.5's as well. Happy hunting. HS

What have you done to your square lately??

Man, you guys on this site are awesome. I have another grille from the 85-87 era that is broken too. I'm going to perform transplant surgery from it to the '82. There is a large portion of the '82 bolster missing as well as many of the horizontal bars that are either broken in half or missing...

What have you done to your square lately??

Yeah, me too. I had an 80 GMC SB that I had to make the grille for some decades back. There certainly not a plethora of GMC grilles in the boneyard and aftermarket ones don't have the script. I'll take my time with it and see if I can't bring it back close to the factory luster. Thanks for the...

What have you done to your square lately??

I'm getting ready to put this GMC back together. The I/P has decided to work & I'm tired of pushing it around. I've driven it around some & I'm looking forward to another IDI Detroit. This is the first half-ton I've had though. The "un-obtanium" grille is the next project.

C10 Fall Revival 2023, Denton NC

I did not go. I made the decision Friday (in the pouring rain) evening to stay home and get caught up on a bunch that has gone untouched around the farm. I had a few buddies that went and said that it was quite an outing. Thanks for the pics. Looks like a great day and awesome surroundings. HS

What are 40” Ground Hawgs Worth?

I've had several sets of TSL's Hawg's and also had some Gumbo's. The Gumbo and Hawg tires were used in NC for competition mud pit racing. Toward the close of last century (and millennium) the TSL started to take over. In the early 00's the Bogger came on the scene and changed things totally. I...

What are 40” Ground Hawgs Worth?

I had a set of 17/40 16.5's on my IHC & it was a beast. I loved the way those tires bit & wheeled. This was before the TSL Bogger was invented. The set you're looking at are probably 30 years old or older. But, they'll look SO MUCH better than Nitto's & big hoops. HS

    Hello from Central Louisiana

Welcome from Central NC. I love the 73-80 trucks but the rust-mites usually get the best of them around here. I've had a few of em all myself. Thanks for the pic & enjoy the site. HS

I'll have to check. You may source Flaming River unless the Biden-flation has caught up with them too.
