    Hi from Birmingham !

My wife was stationed at Maxwell & we had a house at Prattville years back. I remember we took the ATV to Geneva State Forest & the roads in the area all were tinted red. Oh, Sweet Home Alabama! HS

    New inexperienced member

Welcome to the site from NC. That pedal spacing is certainly weird. I'd drop the column a bit & see what's going on with those pedals for certain. Looks like a great truck to work with though. HS

    What Classic Insurance to get?

I've had Hagerty on several vehicles for several years now. Last Fall during the passing of my mother; I didn't go into the garage for several weeks due to circumstances with dealing with her hospitalization and subsequent expiration. Anyway, after the funeral my son and I went into the garage...

    GM 4200 I6 swap?

Maybe I should have stated the question as "why GM didn't". Yes, the Atlas are defunct I believe and have been replaced with the 4-banger. I did a 10 hour class on those a couple years back and was surprised how the camshaft lobes slide to deactivate cylinders instead of how AFM previously...

I just bought a John Deere tractor!

Hello folks! I just bought my pa-in-laws JD tractor. It's a 46 H model as far as I can tell. Before he passed away he gave it to my brother-in-law which in turn cannot use or care for it...so me & the wife bought it from him! Y'all tell me something about it please.

    I need a good 84/87 steering column.

I have one from a '91 Sub if you are interested. IDK how much the shipping would be from NC to TX though. HS

    Parts

Hello and welcome from the Tarheel State. I have a '79 C20 as well; I need to get back to work on it as the rust-mites have started on it again. I had it repainted for my dad about 20 years ago now. He purchased it new back in '79. I'd love to get that radiator but you're a haul away from me...

    GM 4200 I6 swap?

I'm not a GM engineer but have wondered WHY the Atlas 6 hasn't made it's way to the Silverado platform. They make great power & get 300K plus miles in service when maintenance. HS

What have you done to your square lately??

They ain't worth a nickel on pavement but OH! the smiles they bring when you're bouncing the needle on the rev-limiter and chewing the goo with them. I'm ready to get healthy enough to go out and play with the kids again and "send em" as the youngins say! HS

What have you done to your square lately??

Oh boy...my SIL just sold his 85 K10! Dana60/14FF/454/SM465-NP205. We counted the cabbage & we both wiped a tear from our eye as the taillights disappeared. He made a very substantial profit & gifted me with the 38 SS Boggers from it!

    Square body?....well, sort of

I have an OHC Sprint 6 that I'd love to have a 66-69 Poncho body to put it in. That truck has half of one...the nose. I'm with @Shorty81: no bumper, shortbed and no functional tailgate=no truck. HS
