3.08 Gears. What to Swap to?
My '87 has the stock TBI 350, SM465, 3:42 gears and 33 inch tires. My motor has a few more horsepower than yours so this isn't apples to apples... Tire Size for K10 Heavy Half
@Kasey 1977 K10 , what size are the tires on the truck now? You have aftermarket rims and the offset and back spacing may affect what you can do. What have you done to your square lately??
I have dual Magnaflows on The '87 and they sound very similar to the Thrush Turbo Mufflers we had on Dad's '77 GMC back in the very early '80s. I don't love them but I do like them. -

Perhaps try opening the bleed screw on top of the housing before you try installing the filter? You might be having trouble compressing the fuel in the pre-filled filter. If I remember correctly that O-Ring at the top can easily get misaligned. Most of the filters didn't have a groove for that O-Ring. The Wix plastic filters did and they also had a tapered body vs. the straight wall of the other filters. I ran the WIX for those reasons. Are you certain that...- Redfish

@JamesSam this is a ridiculously easy radiator to replace. I had no idea how bad mine was until I actually pulled it out. It was leaking from several places. -

So really, you haven't moved any closer to What Is It Really Worth than when you started. My suggestion is to look on AutoTrader Classics and see what "similar" trucks are listed for. They rarely get their asking price by the way. Look on Bring A Trailer and see what similar trucks actually... -

1987 V3500 Engine update
Please tell me about that winch. Looks like a Ramsey... And yes, 1987 was the first year for TBI but I am not sure about the 3500 trucks. I didn't know a carburetor was still an option for '87 but I am happy to learn something new.- Redfish

The big one on the front of the throttle body goes to the PCV on the passenger side valve cover.
