    I never saw this thread. I am in the same boat as you were. Been through several 700r4 trans over 2 or 3 years. Truck has mainly been sitting for a few months now. Only drive it short distances because of the trans. Unfortunately, I have run out of money and can't keep buying parts for now.

    They seem to be pretty well respected, and when you talk to Brian (the owner) he is a really nice guy. I've talked to other shops that seem to think a lot of Brian. It's definitely frustrating as hell. They work on stuff a whole lot nicer than mine, and a lot more powerful. I won't be going back...

    If left in drive (which I can't really do) it shifts into 3rd at about 1900 when cold. It feels like Im in overdrive by 35 mph, so I just manually shift it, the truck only feels good when I go into overdrive above 55 mph.

    This only happens as it's shifting into 3rd and 4th. It also seems to do it less if I really run up the rpm's in 2nd or 3rd before allowing it to shift.
