    AC charging

If you don't have the proper equipment to deal with the ac they are not tricky they are impossible. I will do everything from body to engine work but I don't have the equipment to mess with it so I would take it somewhere and let them suck it down and fill it, but to answer your question it 5lbs...

    AC charging

Weeellll how do you know it's working without freon is my question? You have to vacuum it down and it has to hold the suction to know its working properly. The freon gets applied in this process and you know it's working if the system holds vacuum. You have to clean out/replace the whole system...

Like hr said you could leave it 1to1 or play with it and shift in between gears. You would shift it like the tranny. When I had my two piece driveline lengthened, balanced and a new yoke placed it was 150 at place here in wichita. It's called power drive. That probably won't do you any good but...

    body swapping

I have every intention of turning mine into a four door step side. I just have to wait on the oldest because the third row is handy right now.

He has a four speed that's why I suggested it. It is pricey but it would be cheaper then a rebuilt 4l80 plus controller. Definitely cheaper then a gear vendor. Dodge had the 46rh that was basically a 727 with an overdrive for gas apps. They later went to the 46re (electronic)

It's really pretty straight forward and the instructions are clear. It getting those damn bump stops off are something else. The driver side was easy with an oxyacetylene torch.I just hate dealing with hot metal and sparks in a confined place. The passenger side a used a grinder, drill and a...

I know I hate em. They need to come off. I'll probably just take off the coils and run the shocks.

Well this is thing is now roadworthy. Not even that I've prepared it to tow a very large RV. I guess the one the wife has picked out is 7300 lbs dry so we'll see how this thing tows. Some improvements made for that with an estimated 160hp/400ftlbs He341 M&H 3M fuel pin 1 & 1/2 turns in power...

You really can't just base it on highway miles alone you should average your city and highway mileage because the gear vendors will keep your rpm range down through the whole acceleration process with its one over, two over, three over gearing.

    AC repair

The oil from the back of the compressor looked okay and didnt smell funny. It was kind of a dark tinted yellow. I didn't see any metal and still spins okay without issue. I will take the accumulator apart before I put a cent into it. Thanks again for the advice.

Yeah I am going to do everything I can to keep it safe. I haven't gotten the helper springs yet. Probably happen tomorrow. I have a hide away receiver. I just the vacuum pump hooked back up, the hide away antenna bought and installed and my hood pins installed.

I'm going to be pulling a 9000 lb gross weight travel trailer. It's getting helper springs too. I figure anything will help. Ideally I should change out the whole rear.

Installed that remote oil filter kit from pacbrake. There still isn't very much clearance, so I may have to modify that cobra head intake. Not really big on where the oil filter is but I'm running out of locations to put stuff with the flip front. I also finally replaced those nasty air shocks...

I'll just add to this. I like to use a grinder with a cutoff wheel if you're not confident use a dremel with a cutoff.
