Recommend rear wheel cylinder?
I'm curious if anyone knows why there's no slot or hole in the back of the rear brakes to adjust the parking brake. If my rear brakes froze up I wouldn't be able to adjust it to get the drum off. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -
Steering column rebuilt kit?
Yeah unfortunately all these stores are like Pep Boys. But me and my uncle went in halves on a Suburban that's in really good shape and we're going to just use it as a parts vehicle for both of ours and luckily the steering is good. It's basically just the bearings in there. But we have a spare SUB for parts and I just used the ones it had and all good but it would be nice to know I could get a kit in case I need it again. OK well I got it finished. I found out what type of bearing was in there later after buying Nationals. The bearing sleeve was still in axle and wasn't aware of this since it's my first time. I had TIMKEN U360L and they were fine actually, but when I was pressing it off the axle, it damaged it... -

I actually looked up an old text from original owner and it is indeed a D60 with a custom built driveshaft * just confirmed by cleaning off area and it is a 60 under all that gunk. -

If by collar you mean the plate with lug studs, not yet. Assumed they wouldn't move without removing whatever is inside pumpkin first. Not seeing anything that runs parallel with the axle though. Only that short rod in the middle with the smaller gears but it's running up and down Sent from my... -

Hey thanks everyone! Chose the best fit for the post. Sorry about that. I'll soon be fixing up the big red beast. Runs great. Like a brand new vehicle, just not too pretty inside. Previous owner took very good care of the running parts. Starts up on first key turn.- 88SUB
