    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

I'm curious if anyone knows why there's no slot or hole in the back of the rear brakes to adjust the parking brake. If my rear brakes froze up I wouldn't be able to adjust it to get the drum off. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    Steering column rebuilt kit?

Yeah unfortunately all these stores are like Pep Boys. But me and my uncle went in halves on a Suburban that's in really good shape and we're going to just use it as a parts vehicle for both of ours and luckily the steering is good. Thanks for that number though. Sent from my SM-G920V using...

    Steering column rebuilt kit?

It's basically just the bearings in there. But we have a spare SUB for parts and I just used the ones it had and all good but it would be nice to know I could get a kit in case I need it again. I knew I could get online, just wanted to know if anyone had this stuff retail. But AZ, NAPA and...

    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

OK well I got it finished. I found out what type of bearing was in there later after buying Nationals. The bearing sleeve was still in axle and wasn't aware of this since it's my first time. I had TIMKEN U360L and they were fine actually, but when I was pressing it off the axle, it damaged it...

    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

Having a heck of a time finding replacement seals and bearings. Been at AutoZone for 30 minutes. Any ideas? Is this a D60 thing I need to take into consideration? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

I actually looked up an old text from original owner and it is indeed a D60 with a custom built driveshaft * just confirmed by cleaning off area and it is a 60 under all that gunk.

    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

I can't remember what the original owner told me about the rear end. I know he mentioned DANA but not sure if that was front and rear or what. Want to say DANA 60 for some reason Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

I'm wondering if I have non c-clip Was looking through videos and this guy was replacing his jeep bearings and mentioned that if the plate with the lug studs has a hole, it's non c-clip and the axle is held by a backing plate behide that plate I know it's Jeep but wondering if it follows for...

    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

Yeah I'm gonna have to see if I can get a scope or something to see what's up. No bolt head and that hole looks empty lol which isn't good I would imagine. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

Yeah, it's almost like I'm missing the small bolt that holds that bar in there to slide out. I see small recessed areas where one should be. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

If by collar you mean the plate with lug studs, not yet. Assumed they wouldn't move without removing whatever is inside pumpkin first. Not seeing anything that runs parallel with the axle though. Only that short rod in the middle with the smaller gears but it's running up and down Sent from my...

Need some assistance here... can't figure out how to remove axles. Opened and drained the pumpkin, now what? Lol I can't see any clips or bolts to remove to allow axle to slide out so I can replace seals and bearings. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

Couple things after having some help yesterday. First, had someone take apart everything on both rear systems. Looked at both old cylinders and confirmed they were bad. Also noticed brake adjusters were wrong and not working correctly and auto adjusting correctly. The other issue was I expected...

    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

Well like I said. So far only replaced passenger rear side cylinder. While I was going to do driver rear, I noticed axle issue and just buttoned it up since I'm gonna need to go back and do that stuff, plus it was getting late. But putting truck back in its spot, brakes were no better. Same...

    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

Yeah. On way home from camping I noticed my braking was almost gone. Pedal pretty much to the floor. Was fine going out there and driving around (desert) and on the way out to go home, is when I noticed (beginning of paved road) I had to really push down on brake. Sent from my SM-G920V using...

So now I seem to have multiple issues....awesome! Still need to figure out my brake issue and now get into the axle part which I have no clue about. Great. I don't even see what you mean about a groove so have no idea what I'm trying to fix. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Well I replaced one side. Now working on the other side (driver) Not seeing any brake fluid mess but smelling and seeing a blueish grease? from the hub/axle. Obviously an issue here but how or why would this cause my non braking issue? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    Recommend rear wheel cylinder?

On the way home from camping last week, brakes felt squishy. Pedal to the floor and not much braking. Removed fronts, disc and all look great. Nothing seemed wrong and still have lots of brake left. Removed right rear and drum was coated with fluid. looked across at other tire, still on, and can...

    Help indentifying truck model

Hey thanks everyone! Chose the best fit for the post. Sorry about that. I'll soon be fixing up the big red beast. Runs great. Like a brand new vehicle, just not too pretty inside. Previous owner took very good care of the running parts. Starts up on first key turn.
