    I figured out the heat tube question, didn't realize that the oem manifold plate is bolted on and comes off. I can most likely put it on the new intake when I change intakes or motors, which ever comes first....lol

    Mines a shortbed. And I'm not sure how long it'll be, can't get to tearing apart the stepside bed until the weather cools off a little. Being in a steal covered barn when it's 95 plus isn't any fun at all! Lol

    What have you done to your square lately??

    Needed some cheap gauges because my water and oil gauges in the dash dont work and the gauges that were hooked up in it were broken and falling apart. So I picked up these Eqqus gauges and installed them!

    Mine has the hot choke with the metaltube, but my intake has a hole it fits into. This new intake has the plate I posted a pic of but no hole just that dimple, wondering if it had to be drilled out, I know I can use an elctric choke but I don't want to mess with it!

    New question about the choke tube plate on this 2101 edelbrock intake. Do I have to drill out a hole in the dimpled part, or get a choke tube for this intake, or do I just cut a tube up to fit? Also trying to get new bolts for the water neck thermostat housing, what size are they etc?

    Lol, same here, my only hold up is the rear brake lines and whether or not I can go without a proportioning valve. I checked at my part time job and all the prices are about right for the 99 to 2000 awd astro van setup. With my discount it's rreally worth it to upgrade vs drums, etc

    2 inch shackles should bring the back down level unless you want to lower whole truck? But also can't you just remove the helper load spring and get the same thing J Knight?

    Only hint I can give is it goes onto the bolt that holds the fenders to the bedsides. The rods won't go to any bolt but one due to length so bolt to fender then find the bolt it is closest to reaching

    X2 on above comment, id just go with one of the stock options. I work pt time at Oreillys and when most the gear heads come in they buy the mechanical pumps unless they're running electronic fuel pumps

    Found this which is similar but a little lighter, might be able to get it mixed a little darker, guess I'll try to see if I can get some mixed.
