    thats why i started with a plasma cutter as well on top of all that its a pain to get the gas here and you need a license or contract to get your bottles filled at least in maine anyways and from how i understand it and im far from an expert i think the compressed air blasts the molten metal out...

    success! plasma cutter to the rescue even burned the caps through the center and either it was the heat or i weakend them enough but after that they popped right out. new u joint is installed and i realized after I installed it that Napa must have gave me the wrong one because the caps stick...

    **** ive tried both ways how can i get a press on it if they punch out from the inside? im guessing id have to cut the joint out first? Ive got an idea i dont have a torch but i do have a plasma cutter im gonna burn that ****** out right down the middle take it to work (theres a press there)...

    wish i had a torch all i have is propane...good ideas ill probly try them all. am i right in assuming that the caps can be punched through once c clips come off? i dont get it its like they are fing welded in. ill soak it penitrating oil for a day and try again hopefully i wont have to cut it
