Quick update. Got quite a bit done during my week off. Replaced all the wheel cylinders and the master cylinder. Got the bumpers, cowl panel, and front fender liners back on. Pulled the door seals and ground the old adhesive off as well. Got the seat I pulled from a grain truck dyed black. Should I trade my 73 C20 for a 1998 Suburban
I would not, seems like you already made up your mind not to anyway. Does a '98 still have to go thru emissions in CA? Made some progress over the weekend. Got the truck cleared and started to get the limited trim mounted. I also got the lettering on the tailgate and the hood lettering. The color is paint code 503, light green. This was the truck original color when it was born back in 1967. Growing up we had a '71 Suburban in this color and I have always liked how it looked on these trucks. Thanks for the kind words. Keeps me motivated. Was over at the shop where the new motor is sitting and got a picture of it. Not the best shot. Happened to be over there as the FIL's '66 Chevelle is getting some carb work done. Got the back of the cab sprayed. Doors are the last item on the list, they have been stripped and primed so I just have to wet sand and spray them and much of the bodywork will be done. Got the hood painted over the long weekend. I also got the truck masked off and the cab primed. Did a lot of spot putty work on it and will hopefully get it sanded this week. Pretty sure I have a few more spots to correct before I color it. Making progress. Will be glad when the bodywork is done...- ebodell08

Squarebody Down! HELP - Member Roadside Assistance Volunteer Map
Moved here about 3 years ago from Creston, Iowa. Got remarried to a farm girl and we moved about 1/4 mile from the family farm. Moved my Dad here about two years ago so we could be close and keep an eye on him. We love the area and I am close to the farm shop and lots of timber to kick around... -

Old truck Patina
Feed sack floormat and doormat seat cover. Tractor maintenance with the FIL Visiting Dad at his assisted living apartment. After a heavy rain the shortcut to the facility is pretty much a Level B road. Not much to look at but it still gets worked. Not what anyone would consider a pavement... -

Joined at the state fair about 3 years ago or so. Was kinda bummed out when the coffee cup arrived in several pieces. But the surprise shipments every so often brighten your day. -

Got the radiator back from the shop. They saved the side tanks and tags when they replaced the core. Even shot a coat of paint on it. Upper and lower hoses also arrived. Advice on my 57 chevy
Do you have a pressing need to sell it? In my 55 yrs I have sold several vehicles that I wish I had kept. I really did not "have" to sell them but I felt I "needed the room". Seems like you are on the fence. Unless you absolutely have to have it gone maybe find some covered storage and keep it...- ebodell08
