    Also, I’m going to ASSUME that the heads have come off one other time max, so would it be okay to reuse the headbolts? Again this isn’t a crazy motor, 8.5 to 1 compression if I’m lucky

    Go to a trans shop and give them your case, often they’ll have scrap cases that they’ll cut your missing piece from and they may be able to weld it in and repair it for you

    Does anyone know why I may loose power after putting headers in? My exhaust sounds less mean too, less of a chop now, but granted my cam is stock. I know it’s problably leaner now but will it really need that much more fuel to compensate? And eventually I’ll bump my compression with vortec heads...

    When I had my th350, no matter how many times I replaced the seals they would not seal, and when I bought my rebuilt 700r4 it sealed perfect. That’s until I swapped the electric speedo with a cable and had to remove the tail housing to do the job. I bought a new speedo housing with all new seals...
