@Splandman I've never heard of "lock up off" pressure. I know that in 4th the pump dosent supply much pressure, but I'm unfarmilliar with any modifications to change those characteristics. Can any one explain it a little more?

    TH350 problems

Your drip from the tailshaft is pretty common. On mine I replaced my tailshaft seal 4 times with no luck. It may also be from the "weep hole" in the yoke though, Google it and you'll see. You can get a new yoke or just give it a bead of weld, maybe jb if you can't weld. As for it not moving...

    Gas gauge troubles

Sounds like your sender wire is either grounding or coming disconnected. Be sure it hasn't rubbed through anywhere. The power and ground wires may be bad too but I'd check the sender first since it has to run around the frame. If you aren't afraid to pop open your dash, try running a new...

I understand, honestly now that its shifting right and I have plans for a cooler, im gonna leave it alone for a bit. Il contact the builder soon and ask if cracking open the pan to install lockup will void the warrantee. THANK YOU to everyone for your help, another great reminder of why this...

    "Rebuilt" 700r4 issues

I like your recommendation but unfortunately the swap has drained my funds. I figure il just assume its running hot (a safe assumption here in az) and use what money I can to get a cooler. I found this one on amazon that seems to work well, opinions...

Thank you for the suggestion, il defiantly get one thrown on it soon. Im going to weld in a drain bung when I do my first fluidchange, and Il problably use a temp sender as a plug.

Yup I fell every shift pretty solidly. Im adjusting on feel right now too since I don't have my speedo hooked up yet, but if I had to say its a HAIR late and hard, but from what I've read that's not the worst issue to have, so I think Il leave it. Im also weary to do any further adjustment on...

For now just for simplicity since I just got it working as it is I probably won't tear back into it and hook it up. But pretty soon here I hope to stab an aditional cooler into it, does any one have any suggestions? I have a 4 core aluminum radiator that has the built in cooler that I currently...

@da_raabi great thread, I'll probably pass it along then considering that the 700 swap has drained my wallet. Good quote

    Bringing back the th350

A couple weeks ago my th350 went out. Since then I've been swapping in a 700r4. My builder wanted the 350 core or 50 bucks, and while it would be simpler to give the core, I've been considering paying him and fixing the th350 myself. From what I can tell my pump is solid. it happily thumps into...

Thank you! Il use that as a base line. I went out and splurged on some cheepo chrome adjustable bracket. It should give me the adjustment I need, and I got it to fit in decently after some modification with a dremel. Do you have your tv bracket centered with the rear valve cover bolt @Dutch...
