    Mechanical pump pressure regulator

Ok. The more and more I think about it, I'm pretty sure my problems have to be from high fuel pressure. So that said, what have you ran for a regulator and liked? I'd like to get one with a gauge if possible, especially if it's adjustable, but I'm also not looking to spend an arm and a leg.

    WTB: 3 inch wheel ring

    88-98 Chevys, 99-02 Chevys, and 94-01 Dodges.

Sadly, I dont have time for 5 pages of reading before commenting. I just wanted to make sure that on early 2000's 5.3, there is a certain head that always cracks on them. I hope someone mentioned that. If so, thanks, you beat me to it. If not, research it. I forgot the head number and dates. And...

MagnaFlow vs Flowmaster vs Straight Pipes

I hate, HATE, that the PO put on flows. Its too GD loud for as slow as I am and it dumps before the axle. Let me tell you about drone. gah, it almost makes my ears ring. Im dumping them for magnaflows or dynomaxs, and then running full exhaust, tucked, and dumped at the bumper.

    redoing stock steel wheels

Ok, I went 235/75r15 because Im being a cheap ass. 255/70r15 were like $50 more a tire. I was told one wheel "has a wobble", not sure what that means besides bent. I think I can feel it driving at 65+. Doesnt happen lower, might be something else like transmission or transmission mount. I say...

    Quadrajet question

I guess it is call a pull clip. And mine is missing. Edit: research says it's not needed. That fuel pressure pushes the needle up and the float pushes it down. Mystery solved.

    Quadrajet question

I'm guessing that if the needle isn't attached to the float, it would be like the float is adjusted too high and it will be rich all the time...

    Quadrajet question

I'm going through my carb. Rebuilt by a "rebuilder" and I have a float and needle question. Did all qjets have a spring that went from the needle to the back of the float? As in, this needlefish doesn't float in the bowl and the float pushed down on the needle but that it's actually connected...

    redoing stock steel wheels

I saw on tiresize.com that a size up was 255/70r15 and is .2" taller and .7" wider, just wasnt sure if the 255 was too wide. Seems like thats about as wide as you want to go on that wheel though.

    Interesting blower stuff

Sadly, most of those dynos only top out at 999 hp. It might be a safety feature to the dyno. But Id love to see this happen too. haha.

    redoing stock steel wheels

Ok, my deal fell through, only because, and I didnt realize this till I took off the wheels, the 22s are 5 x 4.5 and there are adapters. So Im going to buy some rallys and then sell these POS's. The tires alone are worth $500, so someone will buy them just for the tires. Anyways, this guy only...

    Interesting blower stuff

Beats me, but I'd blipped the throttle once in the parking lot and never did that shit again. You'll learn to have a light foot after almost putting that car into a few more $100k cars. On Those cars, blipping the throttle will put you at 2500 easily. And it makes 722 ft lbs from 1800 - 3600...

    redoing stock steel wheels

When I started professional working on cars back in 99, I worked with a buddy and our saying was, "I'll give $5 and 5 fish sticks." A few years later I extended the Hardy hand shake to the saying. No one wants fish sticks unless you're a 5 year old.

    redoing stock steel wheels

Ok. These are the pics he sent. Im all for some nice ralleys, but the chrome just looks too good for the center caps. Do they look like they are aftermarket? Am I putting too much into it? I dont trust people on CL. He has 235's on the wheels, not that Im a fan of those tires, but they would...

    85 SWB 18" or 20" wheels?

20's all the way. I plan on doing 3-5 and 20's. (pay no attention to the gay 22's in my profile pic.)
