    The monster that owned the truck before cut and hacked all of the radio wiring. Does anyone have a suggestion of how to correct the truck radio wiring harness? I plan on some junkyard hopping this weekend if that is your answer.

    And I guess that is one of the things I am concerned about. It looks like the truck has some Dorman ones and the chrome is flaking off of the plastic. And I have searched Amazon and the parts houses, and LMC. The difference is only like 5 bucks. Id like to have better quality for that much.

    Id just replace the mufflers only. Go with a Dynomax or Magnaflow muffler. I dont weld, but Im sure a shop wouldnt charge much to cut off mufflers and weld in new ones, especially if it were a cash deal. 2 mufflers might cost you 100-150 depending on how long you get. The longer the muffler...

But, I will tell you with my 700r4 and q-jet, Im only getting between 16-20 mph depending on how much city driving...

    Thanks! I bought them around Dec and repainted them. They have been on but still had spring spacers on the truck and the centers arent bolted on. I need to pick up the screws for those still. So I hung them on for a new pic since the pulled the spacers and replaced both front calipers and brake...

    So, this truck doesnt have an engine dipstick. And from what I have searched, 80+ had right side dipsticks. The truck looks like it should have a press in left side dipstick which seems this would be 79 and older. Also, 79 and older had a two piece dipstick, correct? Did they make a one piece...

    I beg to differ. I can read 12+ volts at my choke with it plugged up and running with my DVOM.

    Actually... both. Seat is loose, thank you PO. And I am chaotic neutral. That said, you can see and feel it in the steering wheel and the rest of the cab.

    That is a good question. I dont feel a warp (and I have in other cars before), that being said, it does pull like holy hell to a side stomping on the brakes. (that doesnt happen often as Im not riding anyones ass in this truck. haha. )

    But I have a different set of wheels and brand new tires. But they are cheap ones. And this feels like a butt in the seat vibration, not a front end or front tire vibration.
