A 4.5in backspace on the rear will result in tire rubbing on the fender lip, you need a 5in backspace on the rear and a 4in max in the front- J Knight

For a 2in drop, buy a pair of 2in drop shackles. If you want a 4in drop, mount your front spring hangers 4in higher on the frame in addition to the 2in drop shackles. As far as hitting the bumpstops, you need to measure the distance from the axle to the bumpstops now and under a load. That will...- J Knight

Lowered- need new shocks.
You can use stock replacement shocks in the front. You need shock extenders in the rear to run stock shocks or you can get drop shocks. I have seen guys use stock front shocks on the rear with a flip kit.- J Knight

lights/turn signals
It may be a ground issue at the light socket, thats where i would start. When you loose the ground it back feeds through the indicator lights in the dash.- J Knight

Funny shit right there. I havent had a govered truck since the early 90's...suck ass when I did though. My '06, '03, 'and my 99 all had the "road speed governer" settings in the ecm set at max which is 127mph....fast enough imho. My '85 was mechanical with no restrictions but it was gear...- J Knight
