I’ve found 1 LMC video on YouTube that states the measurements for this side trim but wanted some help from you all to cross reference and make sure these are correct.
The tape line is 13” down from the body line until the back of the rear tire. The tape line past the rear tire is at 12 3/4...
I just installed AN fittings from my fuel pump to the carb and I do have some wiggle in the fitting below the tractor in your pic. But the fitting connected directly to the rubber line should be tight.
Finally got some low humidity to finish the body work and paint the bed. Can’t wait to see it back on the truck along with the chrome trim. It has been way too long.
I bought 1 box of the noico stuff and it’s plenty enough for 4 doors…
50$ for 20 sq/ft Noico and about 60$ for 50 sq/ft of the kilmat. I’m not sure how much you’re planning on needing.
What’s odd about these trucks is regardless of the condition, I can look at em all day! Let’s see this beauty! I’ve gotten so much valuable information from this site. The members here are awesome! Welcome from TN!
yeah, that’s why I chose white! White squares look so clean to me. Painted this one in my garage pc by pc. Had to choose non metallic and white to make it as easy as possible. Mine is WA5111 tho. It was a factory color from 1985 with a slight yellow I believe. Can’t notice it in the sun tho...
Haven’t done much work on her lately, but finally painted the drip rails and got them installed. Decided to go with white instead of the matte black. Hopefully the paint will hold up in the weather okay.
My 1985 k10s original color was 9V6 gunmetal metallic grey. It was a mini van color then and looks like mine was a custom order. From what I can find is gunmetal grey was also an option for the outdoorsman edition. Unfortunately I know mine wasn’t one.
