    If i cut B and run that wire to the ECM with D I should be good correct? so long as A still functions when i cut B. I'm assuming the ECM locks up the transmission by grounding D. What is the function of B then?

    Ok so I cut out the vacuum switch and wired the lines together. I'm getting 12v till i press the brakes on both pins A and B. That right or wrong?

    ok double checked it....I am getting 12v power on Pin B of the transmission until i hit the brake.

    ok i just tested that solid blue is 12V with key and that cuts with the brake applied. that should go to A correct? it currently supplies power to the Vacuum Switch, EGR solenoid, and pin B on the tranny connector...

    ok so im tracing wiring from the original lock up harness. what a nightmare! so D went to the old EGR solenoid. A went straight into the firewall. B splits into 3 wires,to old EGR solenoid, to vacuum sensor, and to firewall. The 2nd wire for the vacuum sensor goes to the firewall also. So all...

    ok. Got the PROMs switched out. Just waiting for the Pins to be delivered so i can run the new wire. Is it ok to drive the truck awhile? I haven't changed any of the Transmission wires over to the ECM yet.

    Ok got pins. My transmission has 3 wires coming from it. Lt Blue, Green, and Yellow. -Yellow goes to the EGR connector that is D/C. -Lt Blue wire goes from the Tranny to both the EGR Connector and the Low Vacuum Sensor. -Green wire.....i'm assuming goes to the brake sensor? (i'll confirm...

    Is right side, driver side? Lol It has 3 wires to a 4 pin connector on the driver side. There is that big round thing behind the dipstick tube passenger side. Only other things I recognize are the cooler lines and TV cable.

    since this may change the prom id i guess i should add this. It has and AIR pump controlled by the ECM. Also A/C. #1227747 what other info would be necessary for PROM selection?

    UGH haha more electronics. So what do i need to wire up then? I was afraid by doing that I would need to re-pin the ECM connector. And yes the C20 had a 400 that was trashed or i would have kept it.

    well i pulled it from an 87 C20. you think formally a van because of the TBI setup. Do i need to cut out the connector for the EGR and make it a solid line?
