    Coolant for C20 w/ 350

How big is the radiator? I thought I read 5 gallons but I'm not sure if thats right. I am going to flush the whole thing like 3 times to make it run clear and then fill it up with new coolant. I'm doing the Chrisfix super flush your coolant system video.

    Coolant for C20 w/ 350

So I’m just about to do a flush and fill of my cooling system and wanted to make sure the stuff I bought will be good. It’s the conventional green 50/50. Unfortunately wasn’t long life but it’s all they had for green. Will this be okay? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Gauges and headlights electrical issue

I might test out the alternator later. Just replaced my battery. I doubt it is bad, but better safe than sorry. I tested the gauges last night after fixing that bent pin issue, and they are much much brighter after replacing the switch. Absolutely perfect. Before I put together my dash again...

    Gauges and headlights electrical issue

So I took apart the gauges again, and noticed the printed circuit board had a bent tan, so the harmonica clip wasn't engaging with that tab. I fixed the problem, however my blinkers still blink slightly slower when the headlights are on. Is that normal? The cabin lights also dim slightly...

    Gauges and headlights electrical issue

I haven't verified all my fuses are working but I replaced the gauge cluster fuse. All bulbs are a 168. The only one I replaced that wasn't originally a 168 was the 194 bulb in the washer switch. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Gauges and headlights electrical issue

Weird. Yeah I didn't have this issue until I changed out the switch. Hopefully I'll be able to figure this one out. Seems like it's gonna be really complicated. Another thing I should mention, is a missing piece on my cluster. I'll attach the picture, but this would've been missing before I...

    Gauges and headlights electrical issue

Could I have shorted something when I dsconnected the headlight switch like that? I still had the fuel gauge problem, but not the weird solid turn signals and the fuel gauge didn't go down when I turned on the headlights. This became and issue after I replaced the switch. Sent from my SM-G950U...

    Gauges and headlights electrical issue

So I'm combining all of my other threads into one because now I'm convinced all of this is somehow connected. It all started with my fuel gauge issue. The gauge reads past full and slowly goes towards empty until you turn the key, then it pegs all the way to 3 o clock. I was told to check my...

    Speedo off 8 mph

So I did some digging online and read that I may need to change the gear size for my speedo, but I'm wondering if my issue is with the gauge or cable rather than size of gear. The original tires were 9.5x16.5s and I have 8.75x16.5s. Someone told me the 9.5s are slightly taller, but I was...

    16.5 tires unsafe?

So in other words I shouldn't need to worry about it until I get new tires again? I was thinking I'd have to replace them all with 16s or something right this moment.

Change your throttle cable. Makes a big difference

You know I've been having a similar issue. It seems like there is some slack. I'll give it a try. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    16.5 tires unsafe?

I don't know if this was a coincidence or not, but my mom got a flat and while I was waiting in line for her at discount tire I read that 16.5" tires are unsafe. Completely coincidentally, I met a guy with a squarebody, and we talked about our trucks and the 16.5" tires came up without me...

    Gauge light replacement

So is the rheostat I need to check behind the headlight knob? I don't think my heater light and radio light are bright either, so I may need to check this. I will also give those grounds a look. Thanks for the info.

    Gauge light replacement

Has anyone replaced their gauge lights that remembers the size of the lights that you need. My gauges look like they are glow in the dark at night instead of being brightly lit. I thought about LEDs but I am not sure if thats safe to replace regular bulbs with LEDs. They also might look weird...

Difference between stock air cleaner and aftermarket?

Does anyone know where these vacuum lines go? I assume this is for the heat riser valve to open and close, but It isn't connected. The other vacuum line on the air cleaner itself is just routed back into the snorkel from the bottom, but the other one comes from the bottom and doesn't go...

Stalls when pressing gas too fast

Just thought I'd update everyone. I fixed the accelerator pump, installed my new interstate battery with a new battery tray, and fixed the fuel leak from the inlet fitting. I had to wait for a new inlet fitting gasket to be delivered and it took five minutes to put in. Now my only issue is the...

    Fuel Gauge

So how can you tell if the sending unit connection is broken? I checked out all my wires and most of them look alright other than the ones on the bulkhead that look like they have some oily gunk around them. How do i test a ground, and more specifically how do I test a particular ground such...

    Fuel filter inlet leak q-jet

Thank you so much for noticing that. I ordered the gasket from quadrajetparts.com and got a pack of 5 for about 3 bucks. It took 2 weeks to ship but it was on the post office not them. They had some pretty decent customer service. Once I finally got it, I pulled my truck in the garage got out my...

LMC Truck Battery tray doesn't fit

Interesting. I ordered the side hanger assembly and it helped a little bit. Still doesn't fit great, but at least the hole lines up. I'm still not sure it is level but it looks better. The radiator coolant overflow reservoir didn't line up great either so it isn't really straight, but it fit...

LMC Truck Battery tray doesn't fit

Well the battery definitely looks slanted when you compare it to the radiator support. It is probably fine, but it's just more of an OCD thing. I want to fix it right, and it just doesn't look great. I ordered the side support from LMC to see if they match up any better. Now that I basically...

LMC Truck Battery tray doesn't fit

See that is what I'm thinking could be my issue. I actually managed to get it in. It didn't look like it would fit at all before, but once I put the support in first and tried to squeeze in the tray it isn't as far off as I thought. It is however not level. The support side of the tray is much...

LMC Truck Battery tray doesn't fit

I have to say I'm impressed. They refunded me for the tray and told me I didn't need to send it back! I measured the tray and it is 7-1/4"x12". The 12 inches is what is too long. I am calling brothers to see what the dimensions are on their tray. I'll post some pictures in just a bit. Anyone...

LMC Truck Battery tray doesn't fit

I just bought a new interstate MTP-75 battery, and my LMC truck order came in the same day. I needed a new battery tray because the old one was rusted unbelievably bad, and fixed up with a piece of steel to cover it. I spent a lot of time sanding down the side part for the battery tray and...
