What have you done to your square lately??

Have you figured out what front axle you have? There are some clues on the pumpkin and axle. I got parts from several different sites one being, https://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/ There are a host of others but you need to identify exactly what you have. I got my spindles off of Amazon and saved...

    Bed swap

My short bed 73 has one sleeve on the drivers side, 2nd position! So only one long bolt? Go figure? Might be the gas tank config? Mine always had 2 tanks, but the Drivers side was added, custom tank and the install was wierd a couple of the few bolts I had to cut during the strip down.

If it will fit down low you can find brackets everywhere cheap. I have a K-10 and I couldn't drop my engine in without removing the compressor.

What have you done to your square lately??

@GXPWeasel @Poppy 87 Here's how I removed and reinstalled my bed. It may take a couple of tries to get center but once you do you can remove it by yourself. The last picture is important you need a gap so once you pull all your bolts slip a 2x4 or something between the frame and bed so you...

    Crazy question

It's only 20 bolts and do able for cheap! Sorry I didn't read the whole post. The only reason to remove the bed bolts would be to give you access to the five bolts on each side and ten bolts along the bottom. Also to insert the front body panel. I think it can be done without removing the whole...

    Burnouts with a NP203 full time 4wd?

I did a four wheel burnout with my first square, it was a 73 not the one I'm working on it had a 396 in it. I promptly got pulled over and issued a hefty ticket. That was a long time ago while I was in H.S. which I graduated in 77. No need to do a burn out. Go dig some holes with it in the woods.

What have you done to your square lately??

Repaired my old 40lb blaster, tested it out on one side of my passenger side door. Finished the down to the metal with my favorite tool. Cleaned it then rattle caned it. Still need to fix all the mirror mounting spots over the years. And blast the other side.

    Where do these wires go?

If you got this far, go do a lookup on a Massey 135 diesel tractor wiring diagram! My guess is Key on, and a relay which will allow the starter to function if all the safety measures are met.

What new tools have you got lately?

New to me 2005 7hp 60 gallon Maxus Air compressor. Installed in the barn. Only a single stage have to be patient using the Blaster but it will work better than my old tired 1960's compressor.

What have you done to your square lately??

It's going to be a daily driver, not a show truck. That said every nut and bolt has been removed and everything has been either rebuilt or replaced. Doing body work now to fix the minor rust on the cab. Not full resto, I'm guessing you'd call it a full resto mod?
