Some people will pay if they don't research or if they just want it and have the cash. I.e., MANY things on Ebay selling for around $300, then a seller will have the EXACT same thing asking $1k. People will take the ridiculous asking price if someone is willing to pay it. I actually paid $2,800...- mtbadbob

Inner fender triangular replacement panels
Hey Allan, Where you able to find any of those little access panels? I'm also looking for some, found a newer 'burb with good ones but I couldn't get them off! Anyway, I'm still looking, looked at probably 2 dozen one's from local bone yards but can't find a good set. -

What dash pad did you get? I bought a molded urethane one before I saw the injection molded vinyl pad, and am somewhat dissapointed. It fit's OK, but I probbly would of sprung the extra $ for the vinyl pad for sure. Can't wait to see how yours looks! -

Seatbelt light remains on
The 4wd light is the only bulb in the circuit with it's own power wire! Ask me how I know.... :)- mtbadbob

83 suburban springs
I did a 2" Add-A-Leaf on the front from Suspension Connection. It definitely will make it ride a bit firmer, but gives it a nice, suttle lift.- mtbadbob

Tire and wheel size?
These are 285/65/16's on my R20. I recently did a 2" Add-A-Leaf on the front only. I have 235/85/16's on my '89 2500 w/o any lift, also on the same GM Alloy's and they make it sit up nice & high. I guess it depends on if you want a fat tire or taller & narrower.- mtbadbob

The same tire diameter & ride height can be obtained with a smaller wheel. Where & when did you get the tires??? They should be warrantied if they are too out of round to balance.- mtbadbob

1987 350 TBI running rich at idle with occasional backfire
Did you rebuild the TB? The regulators leak and make it hard to start and run rich at idle as they flood the engine. Also check or replace your O2 sensor.- mtbadbob
