700r4/NP208 wont shift into 4lo or out of neutral
not knowing the intricates of the NP208, but my thought with old school vehicles you don't shift the transfer case while moving. That's the only reason to me why ANY old school transfercase would grind. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Hell I was afraid to do it in my 99 durango...- Camar068

I don't judge anyone for FB. There are honest peeps out there. If you feel they are right through conversation, go for it. Higher distance away tends to prove caution needs to be addressed. -

if it's not getting soaked, dielectric grease may do the trick. Another source if your connector isn't in the amazon kit, mouser will have it along with the seals.....most likely GM approved or the exact same. -
Batteries sho
is there anything you did just prior to the issue? Install new radio, security system, etc. I'd also check your ground cables from the battery and the hot running to the starter. Takes all of 5 minutes is why I say. Probably not the issue but you never know what you'll find.- Camar068

What have you done to your square lately??
Ran wiring for the winch. Probably make a "Y" to run a pump to a 30 gallon tank for fresh water. All for deer season. -

@plugugly I ran the pump that came with the engine and running the stock square radiator. I had a port soldered in the radiator tank below the filler for the steam port. Cheap, effective, less points of failure, and the ability to stop at the local parts store to get a replacement without...- Camar068

wow, seeing that made me think why not zip tie a magnet to those small items that are hanging. Snap and your done. I've got chains, hoses, adapters and other misc hung by nails that drop like a fly if touched. Well $h|t, there's an idea for ya. Thanks dude, link below for example of what I... -
1989 Chevy K1500
Those are the easiest to fix when it comes to soldering. Put a little flux paste on it, and heat it up with a soldering iron. No additional solder needed, the existing solder will melt and create that "one" connection again. It's cracked from vibration over time. Probably 3 seconds with a...- Camar068

Bed mount winch
So now I'd like to put a big boat trailer roller on the tailgate. Easy enough, rectangle bracket with roller sticking above the tailgate. The 2 holes circled close to to top of the tailgate, is there anything mechanical for the tailgate release there inside? If not, I'll sacrifice the lower...- Camar068
