I’ve never seen this part being reproduced. I’m sure you could weld it up.

    Rear driveshaft help.

If the trans case doesn’t have a slip yoke the driveshaft should have a splined extension joint. Typically the portion with the male splines attaches to the differential.

83’ Blazer: In need of a factory muffler heat shield

A single 3” will be just fine with your engine. Much less likely to have any drone sounds as well. Use a good flowing y or merge pipe.

    2.5" or 4" Lift 1986 K10

^ respectfully disagree with the big no-no about cut fenders. Maybe back east it’s that way, but out here that front fender fang would be gone. You can push the front axle forward an inch or inch and a half and have plenty of fender clearance for 35’s. I have no experience with how soft/flexy...

    Interior insulation part 2

You’ll want to use a combination of heat shield and heat insulation products. My cousin has a 1986 Monte Carlo and used Second Skin products. He used the spectrum and firewall spray on products as well as some of the other stuff. Car is almost as quiet as a new Mercedes...

Can you believe this???!!! TC/NP208 Adapter/700R4 trans crossmember mounting/question?

My $0.01 is to install a slip yoke eliminator on the transfer case and get a double cardan driveshaft. Just to avoid the whole vibration and slip yoke seal leaking thing that usually goes with lifted short wheel base.

    Lift or rebuild stock?

I’ll be odd man out and say lift it. I think a 2-3” lift with 33’s is how the K series should have come from the factory. You shouldn’t need any modifications until you start getting into the 4”. Tuff Country ( not rough country) is probably the smoothest off the shelf leaf springs in my...

    87 V10 rear end

Ruffstuff and ord have the 14 bolt swap kits that come with perches, shock mounts, u bolts and spring plates. I have the same swap planned for the future. I can’t see putting money into a 10 bolt. You’ll also need to decide what you want to do with lug studs as your front is 7/16 20 and the 14...

    Adding AC after ls swap

I can tell you that a vintage air will not keep the larger space of a Blazer cold. It will make it less miserable but won’t chill you. Yes you can use the donor system. Get a sanden 508 compressor and a bracket from ict billet...

I hate the power window and door lock switches

I think crimps get a bad rap from being done incorrectly. The seam of the connector should always be in the ditch of the crimper tool for a proper crimp. I like the uninsulated variety that has a crimp for the exposed wire and a secondary crimp that holds onto the insulation. Remember to...
