I saw a video recommend spray detailer and it seemed to work pretty good so far. On the rear I meant the rear window seals, I bought a kit that had both doors and windows and didn't realize it involved removing the rear window as well >.< -

Probably a dumb question Craig but is it reasonable safe to say the hissing / vacuum issue is a problem for the fall when it cools off and I need heat or are there any harmful side effects? For sure. I had the bedliner done and asked them to install the rails but they didn't want to drill the fresh bedliner to reinstall them. Yeah that pictures doesn't really do the old paint job justice as it looks better in that pic than it was. Fender emblems.
Were you able to salvage the old badges? The body shop cut mine like mentioned with a small part of the tab and I was considering how to do the same when I stumbled upon thi spost. -
Picked up a 1987 R10
Here is a picture of when I picked it up. Mostly a clean body besides that passenger door. I didn't pay enough attention to how much work that door had done or I'd have replaced it before painting, but oh well.- TX87R10

Definitely. The flush I used had a smell like that and it's how I figured out where the liquid came from. After running it not dry I decided to purge the new compressor. The oil in it was already black with chunks so I bought a new compressor and dryer and started from scratch again. After... -

@oldretiredafguy definitely coming in April. The owners manual was in the glovebox with the original owners signature on something from the dealership. Now that ac is running I can dig in a bit more.- TX87R10

So I don't want to celebrate too early but looks like I was able to get the system back up and running with everyone's help. The blower motor has been cutting off for what seems like bad contact but it'll work for now. Thanks again for everyone's help! Now on to tint and a fresh suspension... -

Yeah look at the pic of the ac Delco part tho it has an extra outlet of some sort right beside that port. I went all over town trying to find a plug to seal it with no luck. Luckily the screw extractor I bought was able to pull the core out of the original tube so I can take this one back... -

Hey I picked this part up and it has an extra port there in the picture you can see it on the left hand side after the first bend. I am going to have to take it back. Went to home depot and bought some screw removers and was finally able to get it to break free. We will see if another one... -

Well this was some great advice. Tested the line down to the blower motor was receiving 12v, grabbed a new blower motor for $40 at AutoZone and we've got air (not cold yet, but it is a great start :)) Will continue on to the compressor now and see if we can bring this old thing back to life...
