    Homemade car trailers

There is another company out there that makes a similar lift called Kwik-Lift. I bought one a few years ago and absolutely love it. https://www.kwik-lift.com/

What new tools have you got lately?

I picked up this new rustproofing sprayer kit for a buddy of mine as a Christmas Present.

What fluid stains do your daily drivers leave?

The radiator on my old Ram decided that today would be a good day to let go.

Questions about snow plows and mounts.

I'm going to be honest with you, I don't know how much I would trust that grade of plow. Even being extremely careful in your own driveway, you will eventually hook that plow hard on something. Without knowing the quality of the trip mechanism and especially the single mount point, it's...

Questions about snow plows and mounts.

There are 2 mounting points on the quick mount. It's hard to see since we already have it on the truck for the winter. But, here are a couple of quick pictures for you.

Questions about snow plows and mounts.

We have a Hiniker 7.5' trip edge straight blade on our current plow truck (2004 Ram). It's about 10 years old at this point and is holding up very well. Other than the typical wear items, it has needed nothing. Other good brands to consider are Meyers, Boss, Western, etc. There are also...

What fluid stains do your daily drivers leave?

My 2007 Cummins 5.9L likes to leak from the rear seal. I just put a new one in approx 15K ago when I installed a new clutch. It's leaking again. Before that, the oil pan rusted through on the front corner. Not to be outdone, the steering box seems to be wet now. It's not dripping on the...

14 bolt full floater before and after media blasting

It looks really good. Definitely worth the $80. What paint did you use?

What new tools have you got lately?

Your yard looks great. It is definitely a tool to have if you have property, plant large gardens, etc. Yes, I have had very good luck with ours. I haven't had to do anything to it except general maintenance. Unfortunately, I've left it outside and the paint isn't the greatest at this...

What new tools have you got lately?

What to save before junking toyota & Mercury?

Agreed, any 5.0L Fox Body Ford is going to have some decent parts value. Save anything that you can salvage, axle, suspension components, drive train parts, etc. They are widely interchangeable across the platform and will be easy to sell. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Fox_platform

Are all 350 Chevys mostly the same?

Don't forget the change from the 2-piece rear seal to the 1-piece seal in the mid 80's. This link has a couple of good pictures that show the difference. https://bpi.ebasicpower.com/faq/gmsmallblock.htm

    Please forgive me...

Very nice find. Congratulations. You've probably already watched his channel, but Uncle Tony's Garage on YouTube does quite a lot with the slant. I really enjoy those builds.

    Wood heater/stove. What y'all think?

Very nice work. I do just enough fabrication and welding to know what I can't do. And, I know that I couldn't come close to that end product. Again, very nice work.

    15" rims on a k20 suburban

This appears to be an 8 lug 15" wheel. I have no feedback on the brand or model however. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/CLM-413-5808-3?seid=srese1&gclid=CjwKCAjwoc_8BRAcEiwAzJevtVEzHR4BHQTkKmrSaJT3UWKeMIL6YXo6RcDeiZAtvDwqnsRvkRb59RoC-jMQAvD_BwE

    Big O

I agree. Hang on to it if you can. I have my father's truck right now and I am planning to pass it on to one of my kids in a few years. It would be great if you could keep it in your family.

This thread had me thinking of a couple of pictures from years ago. I found these in an old photo album. I apologize for the quality. I just took a pic of the pictures in the album. The first one is my father and I with the truck and the second one is me alone. These were taken in September...

If you are looking at the front plate, that is actually a Knights of Columbus symbol. Thanks for the sentiment however.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of the engine bay right now. I will take some the next time I have it out. Currently ~62K on the truck I believe.

    Show your daily driver

I have to admit that we have way too many vehicles here currently. But, my daily drivers are a 2018 F150 and a 2007 Ram 2500 5.9L Cummins.
