Rough Idle
Mine have springs but they turn just fine, it has to be a tight fit, I put them in hot water to get them on. You can also put a little epoxy/glue in the hose and let it set, just be sure you don't glue the threads. I can bottom them out (by feel) and run them all the way out. Never had a...- Jimbarry

Rough Idle
I just slipped a piece of hose over the jet head to turn it with and marked the adjustment when I got the best vac reading. I left the hose on.- Jimbarry

Fuel tank overfilled
Not sure if it's the same but on my 83 there are 2 same size hoses coming from the cannister one goes to air cleaner and one to the carb body. when I switched them once the cannister puked gas. Seems like that would be the same on both tanks though. Pull it at the cannister and see if it's full...- Jimbarry

Tips for draining radiator

Cable adjustment slot broke at the blend door. Gonna take some jury rigging for now but I'll replace it when I have to remove the gage cluster, everyone has to eventually remove the gage cluster don't they??- Jimbarry

Heater hose size?
On mine the 5/8 goes to the intake then to the right-side fitting on the heater core. The 3/4 goes to radiator. -
