Has anyone weighed a 15x8 rally wheel

Aw right: I had to put batteries in the scale, and then unbury a wheel and drag it in from the barn using the garden wagon as HotwheelsBurban suggested. I only weighed one wheel, instead of four (or five) which would have allowed us to have some kind of rudimentary statistical understanding of...

Has anyone weighed a 15x8 rally wheel

I assumed the OP was trying to figure out the cost to ship, in which case those last few fractions of a pound are critical (especially when multiplied by 4). But - let's find out. K

Has anyone weighed a 15x8 rally wheel

*sigh* Clearly. Corvettes are always allowed to enter the conversation when discussing any vintage GM product, per the first law of "my buddy's square came with a Corvette motor". They are basically the same wheel except for the shape of the decorative holes. Forgive me for assuming you...

    3"/4" Lowering

This should be pretty close to 3/4. Tires are P235/75R15 on 15x8 rallys. Daily driver for 30 years and 200,000 miles. K

I don't know why the link is not working; I tried fixing it from both my phone and then my laptop to no avail. It's from the GM Heritage Center archive. Search for that, then "Vehicle information Kits". K

    question about gmc vs chevy

Not exactly. Front end sheet metal (fenders, hood, rad support) was trimmed out upstairs and conveyed to the final line in sequence from the far recesses of the plant. As a result it was imperative that the operator pay attention to the build sheet and put the emblems on that were called for...

    question about gmc vs chevy

Now that I think about it: we had a "race truck" at the Proving Ground that was a GMC. Back before you could run anything at a Super Chevy event we used to change the grill and tailgate to Chevy in order to run the races. We left the fender emblems and dash emblems as GMC and nobody ever...
