    Has anyone relocated windshield wiper motor

    I saw someone online do a Japanese motor swap - much smaller and easier to cover. New enough I would bet there is a stock cover for it. There will be plenty of fabbing and cobbing to do it and if you find one that fits, then controlling it will be the next circus.

    I would rebuild it now and then store it as a 'ready to go' setup. Never know what may happen that you need it and no time (or $) to do it later. Parts aren't getting cheaper or better quality either.

    Almost done with the Benz Sprinter van spare tire carrier retro fit. I had to make brackets to mount the hinges. Cant believe how easy it is to handle a large heavy wheel/tire with this setup. There is a tube for a lift bar - I'll make one when its all in for good. Fits well with the hitch too...

    I bought a case of Amsoil HD gear oil for mine. Reviews were pretty highly rated. fwiw....synthetic will leak easier than conventional. I had to use the Permatex gray gear gasket maker to stop any weeping.

Many years ago I bought an old Dayton fan from a closing factory. Production date 3/86 and although it worked, it was rough. So I dismantled it - used 2 packs...

    Fast Times At Ridgemont High was the flip side on the 45 of Never Give Up....one of the first Sammy Hagar songs I paid attention to. Loved both songs so much I bought the album, then 2 more.....loved all of them. Became one of my favorite rockers.

    Well.....I got this new (to me) 80 gal compressor. Was going to put an aftercooler on it and start painting my truck. Every connector I pulled was full of oil. I checked the oil that was in it and it looked like motor oil (if detergent, then rings are bad). Figured I'd pull the head to look at...

    Beauty rings questions

    There's definitely 2 different styles. I had one with 15's and they were smooth and rounded in (radius). My buddy had an S10 with 14's and they had an almost flat face, then a chamfer/slant into the rim. I would guess yours had the radius'd rounded look. But thats just me.

    There's enough questions on this, someone should do a write up and sticky it. My buddy has a small machine shop (was the old NAPA one - does mostly heads, flywheels, rotors, etc.). Also has a high power wash tank, tumbler and shotpean blaster to clean up old blocks. WELL.....he got some big $...
