FRONT FENDER COWL CAGE NUT Gone

I just broke mine off about a month ago putting my fenders back on after doing door hinges :893Chainsaw-Smilie-:banghead::angry94::biggun::flame::Whoa::wtf2::suicide::suicide: My fender still lined up pretty decent using the top bolt that goes down into the cowl, under the hood.

    hood cable broken

I replaced my cable cuz it was starting to fray and I was worried about being in this exact position. Saved that video for the future though, never know when it might happen

What have you done to your square lately??

Used it as a shelf while doing maintenance on my ‘05 and paint correcting/waxing the GF’s F150

    Hello from Flint

Welcome from Ga! I did the LS swap in my '85 and lemme tell ya, it's the best upgrade you can do

    Bondo roof. What to do?

I think I'd get out a flap disc/one of those paint remover drum things and strip what you have before going any further. Certainly won't make it any worse. You might find it's just a little wavy and some heat/shrinking and a little bodywork could get it back in shape

    Tailgate holes

Yeah, that woulda been a dealer emblem

    Can’t find a heater core for my c20 suburban…

Check with your local radiator shop. They'll be able to look up/cross reference something that will fit a whole lot easier than we can

    What year tailgate is this??

Your green one is the first design, '73-76. Blue one is a '76-87 second design. I'm pretty sure you can use the blue 'gate, you'll just have to get all the associated hardware, it just won't have the finger going in the bedside

Opinion thread- 81 silverado grill you like or ?

I'm thinking about trying to mount some pods in my valence, kinda like an OBS had.

Grill and head light bezels -'81 K20 Silverado

Good god man. Well, you might consider at least ordering through one of our dealers that might use UPS. Summit Racing, JEGS, Speedway, etc

Grill and head light bezels -'81 K20 Silverado

We use FedEx (safe shipper), not UPS (anvil destroyers) lol. Crazy how it's different depending on location

Opinion thread- 81 silverado grill you like or ?

I've seen it done. There's a guy on IG I think with a red, lowered 85-87 that put that bumper in and figured out how to make them fog lights. Can't remember now what all was involved. I considered it for a little while but decided against it

Grill and head light bezels -'81 K20 Silverado

I'm biased lol but we seriously have some of the best grilles on the market. They were developed in house here in GA and are very nice. I also am not a fan of LMC's all chrome headlight bezels, it's just overpowering. Plus, they're the '85-88 style, so they don't line up well with the '81/82 and...

    A833 transmission

Our R&D director has one in his '67 Plymouth Satellite with a 360 in front of it. It's a dog, even he complains about the ratios. I'd really hate to think how bad it'd be in a 4x4 with bigger/heavier tires

    A833 transmission

Yeah it's the same trans that the Hemi's used, just with different ratios. The ratios are pretty terrible IMO, I'd much rather have an NV3500 or 4500 personally

Opinion thread- 81 silverado grill you like or ?

That's definitely my least favorite grille (well, second least only in front of the 88-91). If the truck is really cool with a good look and some period stuff that I want to maintain it's look, I'd leave it. If it's just a run of the mill truck or I'm gonna build it and change up the looks, it's...

1970s Rally wheel center cap insert decal

If you could get a clear picture of them, you likely could get some decals made that would be correct or darn close. There's so many good vinyl guys these days

Does a seal exist for my factory 1977 c10 sliding window

Nope, Precision is the best brand. They are a bear though, even my glass guy says how hard they are to install. I don't mess with glass cuz it's such a bear, well worth it to pay someone

    Filling in seams

See, I like the gutters. Every time I see a '73 or a shaved truck, I feel like it's missing something

Does a seal exist for my factory 1977 c10 sliding window

Yeah, that's just a regular rear window gasket like the solid back glasses use

    Filling in seams

Whenever I break down and paint mine, I will be welding those seams up and smoothing them off. I've seen it done and it really cleans up the look of the cab, especially the one at the B-pillar that goes all the way across the back of the cab. My truck doesn't have a cargo light either, so it's...
