    WTB PTO for NP205

Found this one: https://clarksville.craigslist.org/pts/d/clarksville-power-wagon-pto/7678277629.html The 100 series is the lightest duty PTO for your 205. What do you plan to power with it? What is your HP requirement?

Hey everybody I'm Anthony an auto tech from Tucson Arizona. I look forward to getting involved with this discussion forum.

There is a good chance the 2 barrel has sealed mixture screws, that is why you don't see them. A mini plug covers the screw. You can remove the plug with a small hole saw tool, also hard to do correctly. Then the screw inside is not a slotted screw, you need another special driver/socket. Looks...

    No dash lights

Steering column, less likely, only if it has a light for the key. Okay instrument lights, power from the parking/ taillight fuse to the headlight switch. Through the dial resistor in the switch back to the fuse panel. Through the 5 amp fuse then to the connector on the instrument panel...

What’s this and where does it go

That is a inline six, not a V8. Same plug was discussed several times. On a 6 cylinder the oil pressure switch for the choke is on that side. @Mossyman Richard, In your picture you are hiding the colors of the wires. Does it have 2 blue wires and one more wire?

Broken hearted kid and fuel system

I'll be the detective on this question. I believe this thread derailed when one or more forum members did not read, or maybe did not understand all the OP's posts. So their questions were already answered or addressed. Then without reason, insults were made because they were butt hurt, not...

    Mystery Plug

If your '87 has fuel injection, it will not have a choke light.

    Mystery Plug

Yes, that is it. Test, turn the key on, no choke light on the dash. Unplug the jumper wire. If the blue wire at the carb is plugged on the electric choke the way it is supposed to be, the choke light now will be on.

    Mystery Plug

You are hiding the colors of the wires. If they are both blue, then it is the plug for the electric choke pressure switch.

That looks like a wrecker body without the wrecker boom.

Hey everybody I'm Anthony an auto tech from Tucson Arizona. I look forward to getting involved with this discussion forum.

Welcome to the forum. In the reference section of this forum are some vacuum diagrams: I did not see a diagram for the non-integral head. The integral head could have several issues. They tend to crack, then you could have leaks. Also the carbon from the EGR valve clogs the PCV port. The...

Broken hearted kid and fuel system

To check the cam lobe, with the fuel pump removed hold the push rod up with you finger. Have jr. crank the engine over. You should feel the rod pushing down a least 3/8 to 1/2 inch. Disconnect the battery lead to the distributor first, so the engine will not fire. If the rod barely moves, the...

Broken hearted kid and fuel system

I must ask, when you are installing the fuel pump, do you push the push rod up and make sure the the pump arm is under it? Some times packing with grease will hold it up when you install the pump. You can also reach in with a thin screwdriver and push it up when installing the pump. Earlier in...

    86 K10 smoking under dash.

You can buy smoke fluid, but you need a machine to install it. Power comes to the headlight switch from 3 circuits. The tail light fuse. The dome light/cigarette fuse and one un-fused wire for the headlights. There is a circuit breaker in the headlight switch for the headlights. Gremlins...

Pinion angle for lowered SWB Square?

No, you are not the only one. When I lowered my '82 with the axle flip, the last thing I did was have the saddles welded. I lowered it at home. No welder, bolted together. Drove to work, loosened the U bolts and adjusted the angle of the axle. Then jacked it up so the welder could sparkle the...

What have you done to your square lately??

Beautiful truck! I want one. Yes, I knew I was safe with my statement. We had a lot of GMCs in the fleet in the '70s and '80s. Many man lift trucks were on that chassis and a few others like this flatbed with a knuckle boom.

Hiya Folks, new owner, battery, oil, and filter recommendations

The original battery would be a Group 74, no longer used. Replaced by a Group 78: You could also use a smaller Group 75: That is what fit with the original side terminal battery cables. If the cables have been changed, or you don't know, then a better choice is a Group DT78 or DT75:

Sensor above oil filter 3 wire

I used the original choke wire on my '82 with the Holley and it worked fine. My guess, your pressure switch was bad or had a very poor connection.

    wires ?

Okay that is the wire that makes it's way over to the starter. The missing purple wire would be the feed to the neutral safety switch from the ignition switch. Keep looking at the added on wires to the relay. See where they go.
