Good morning,
Do we know if both the ACDelco D1906 and Delphi DS10071 have the same Dwell programming?
Thanks in advance!
Busy AF and driving right now, sorry. I have no specs on Delphi I wish I didI feel like this is a question that @Ricko1966 may have an answer to.
May not help, but I do know there were 2 different coils used in the HEI. The parts list would have a foot note asking what color the coil wires are.

Common are the red and yellow. The other coil had the red or yellow replaced with a different color (orange?).
Also the module should come with heat paste. Notice how the package has white grease, not clear.

If you jumper in to the red and yellow wires on the first picture, you can read the dwell with your dwell meter.
Okay I know, what's a dwell meter? @Rusty Nail
Already read it...@ASPEC
Read this thread about module dwell:

Already read it...it's how we got here.
Very familiar with the replacement procedure as well but thank you.
My dwell meter is probably older than most folks reading this. Gonna need to dig it out of my tool storage. Probably sitting next to my flathead valve spring compressor...![]()
Some of these kids......no clue...........lolWell probably not me and @idahovette![]()
