Trans braces not installed when motor went in, can I fix with a little welding/fab work?

So the trans to motor mount k braces were not installed when everything went in. I’m thinking of making a bracket that bolts onto the motor mount to fix it after the fact. Don’t want to delete them. And at this point I don’t want to pull the motor out

It would be easier to unbolt the mount, slip them in and do it the way it was intended. You don't have to take the engine out. Those short one look similar to the braces I had on my Th400 inspection plate cover? It was cast aluminum, not stamped steel.

Jack the motor up and slip the brackets in like they are supposed to be.

Those short bars look like a/c compressor braces, there might be one on the alternator of some serpentine belt systems too.

Upon further review, we are pulling the motor mounts and installing correctly.

Still don’t know what the small braces are for. Was thinking alternator but they don’t work there.

Short ones appear to be rear ac bracket or alt as someone else pointed out. They should go to intake studded bolts.

I’m thinking ac brackets. Although I found some holes on the alternator side, but these don’t match up.
