fuel is leaking out from this capped off spot. Is this supposed to be connected to anywhere? Also what’s the proper connection for this tube on valve cover? Heavy fuel and exhaust smell while driving, trying to properly connect it all back together . Thanks

The crankcase vent is supposed to be routed back to the air cleaner. No fuel is supposed to come from any of the vacuum ports on the carb either.

Do you know why it would be coming out of there? Is that vacuum port supposed to be connected anywhere?

That is supposed to be hooked to the charcoal canister I do believe. Maybe some fuel vapor but not liquid fuel exiting.

Most likely float level is too high, maybe float is heavy,. Carbureator looks new my 1st guess is not put together correctly from the factory. Do not attach it to the charcoal cannister now, connect it after the problem is corrected. Fuel in the cannister ruins it.

Bottom picture finger is pointing at breather. Loops back around into the square hole in air cleaner. Breather filter is missing also needs clip to attach it to air cleaner, sometimes included with filter. Drivers side valve cover should have the PCV valve.

That carburetor looks like one of those new chinesium quadrajets. From my reading on those, no good. If there's a warranty, return it for a full refund and buy a rebuilt original that fits your application.

Because it's a chinesium carburetor. They look great. That's all. Pure junk

Yea I got it off, probably just going to junk it. Came with truck when I recently purchased. It has no markings on it just a generic Chinese carb I guess
