Picked these up at O'Reilly's this Saturday, needed to do some brake work on the DD. They're only $8 for a pair and work lots better than baling wire.

Garage sale finds, large L keys, biggest is 1"

Not sure I'll ever have a need for the 1" but is certainly possible in the future as it seems my hobbies are not getting any lighter. They were cheap too, so that influenced my decision.

Not really a tool in the literal sense, but going to use it to get the garage organized. I bought the plans off a charity website for Gallatin Valley. Costco bin storage rack.

I modified mine to fit in the space that I have- going to secure it to the wall with spare tow chain.

Very nice, I built a similar arrangement and put it on top of my other shelves as I have the ceiling height, and a scaffold.

My poor bench grinder of 28 years finally gave up. So did a bunch of research and Delta kept coming up with lots of people being very happy with theirs. So I stepped up to a 8 inch variable speed. Still need to buy a wire wheel for it. Also while I was at Lowes pick up a 6 in one screw driver for 6 bucks.

Several other retailers have that same style of bin in several sizes. Walmart has Hart brand with blue lids and another brand with red lids. Used to have one in the bed of the Crew Cab to store fluids and bottles. It was too big, but I got the smallest one I could stand a gallon of antifreeze up in....
They are good bins though, and stack well if not overloaded.

That is something I need to do in my shop building -- organize, clean up and get rid of stuff I don't need. I'm doing a little bit of the last one at every swap meet, and selling things on here and the OBS/400 forum.
In my case, I have some of the homemade shelving (2x4s and plywood) from our auto parts store, that we brought home after we closed the business. One of the bays has a bunch of stuff in the shelves; one side of the aisle is parts for my two trucks, and the other side has my personal diecast and models, from several moves. I've also bought some storage containers in different sizes, from Costco when they were on sale.

Since my restrictions on my knee movement are loosening up, I put together my space efficient workbench and working on more organizing. I put up some auxiliary lighting as well. Jealous of you guys with full blown shops, but I’m not doing fab work at this point so it’ll have to do. There’s guys that do more than I do with much less.

This is going to be a fun space. I have enough height to store the spare wheels under the bench, and I’m going to get a rolling tool chest for the right side of the bench. The shelving above and to the right will be to put some of my M2 Machines in for display and also for my Chevy manuals, etc.

Off to the left out of picture, I have the hifi system, speakers in both opposite corners that broadcast sound from brackets (acoustics are REALLY good), and a turntable for playing old Sabbath, etc.

Not mine but funny. I asked my buddy to borrow his mortar mixer, he says sure. WTF! So far I am in 2 new tires, wheel bearing job on both sides, chipped concrete a inch thick off both rims, in the process of bolting patch panels to the dog house covering the motor and gearing. I hope to straighten the tongue which is bent about 20 degrees to one side tomorrow. All this to get it down the road to my place. lol I may just keep it. always a catch.
