I run the same carburetor you have. If you are slightly mechanical inclined. Take the number off the bottom left if looking at it, should say 1401 1402 etc depends what card. Go to summit racing and order a rebuild kit for that number carburetor. Then go to your local auto parts store and get a few cans of brake cleaner ( VERY IMPORTANT MAKE SURE THE SMALL PRINT SAYS EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT CLEAN OUT ALLTHE PORTS ONCE YOU CLEAN THE CARBURETOR ONCE ITS APART. The part of the carburetor that you must focus on is idle starting circuit. This circuit is located, if looking at the same side where you found the carburetor numbers remove the top of the carburetor right under the top in the middle of ventures is Philip screws now when you remove the cover there is a small spring under that spring is a small ball bearing ( do not lose the new kit may or not have a new one if it does not clean the bearing and spring make sure the little spring is good stretch a very little and reuse it ) clean every port the float areas remove any scale from the ****** gas they sell these days. You will also find just a screen where gas enters the carb clean everything. Rebuild it with the kit and you will notice a big difference
