Hi all. I’m trying to get my cruise control working after a truck rebuild but can’t figure out where one of the wires from the brake switch hooks to. My unit has two switches. One runs the resume solenoid and brake lights. It checks out fine.
The wire in question comes from the vacuum release valve. The wire has 12 volts and when the brake pedal is pushed it goes to zero volts. It’s fed from the fuse box.
Or does this switch possibly feed something else entirely?
If this is the case then my transducer may be nfg. Vacuum checks out ok.
Btw I have the write up on this cruise that a member posted (sorry I don’t remember who it was.) The two wires on the vac release are not shown.
Thanks for any help you can give.
