Hey everyone, I'm restoring my 1980 C10 and wanted to know the best way to determine the size of any bolt. I want to replace many bolts, but I don't have the original bolt to reference. I have a service manual but am having difficulty finding specific bolt sizes. Is there a master list or other resource to search and find specific bolt sizes that are used?

I hope my question makes sense.

LMC stocks most of the bolts for things on this truck. They unfortunately don't say what the sizing is in their listings. The fasteners tend to be the same across much of the truck though. The same bolts are used to put the entire front end together just about. I picked up a couple bags of LMCs fender hardware and put lots together with just those.

Do you have a specific area you are focused on?

I will say that I love these trucks because 90 percent of the bolts are the same minus your door hinges bolts and your front fender and inner wheel well bolts closet to the door jamb are a little different.

On the AMK site you can choose bolt kits. The link I post is to the body 73-87 Chevy and GMC truck

https://www.amkproducts.com/master-...3KB-F&masterkits=ChevyMasterKits&element=Body

Select the category and then the car type.
The site with the bolt kit and the content of the kit appears.
Click on the camera symbol.
Pictures of all parts are shown.
Click on the link at the picture of the part you want detailed information.
A site with all specs like thread size, length, finish of the part shows up.

Hope that helps finding the right bolts.
