Wheel bearing that fits!

I purchased some 2.5 in. drop spindles for my 85 c10 but the problem is I can't find some inside wheel bearing 's that fit over the back of the spindle I've tried 2 different sets and neither one fits. Any one else have this problem? Thanks

Who did you purchase the drop spindles from? What bearings have you tried?

If I recall correctly the stock bearings are Timken “Set5” and “Set3” (bearing and race set).

Mine weren't drop spindles, just 3/4 ton spindles from CPP. I couldn't get the bearings to slide on the spindles, called them up, they tried it while I was on hold, found the same problem. Then they shaved a little of with some emery cloth, at least that's what they told me. So, after work that day, I went home and tried it, and after a few rounds, was able to get them to slide on with a little tension.

Not kidding,warm up your wheel bearings and chill the spindle, think ice pack on the spindle, bearings sitting in the sun a couple of hours. Of coarse emery cloth the spindle too.

There's different inner bearings depending on if you have the 1" or 1.25" rotors

In my case they provided the bearings in the kit, and they didn't fit. I later locally bought National Bearings, and it was the same non fit. For my case it was a stock c20 spindle, or so I thought. If I recall correctly, when I got the new bearings, I don't think they rattled off different numbers, just handed me the bearings. Apples to oranges, though, the OP has a c10. He asked, I shared my experience with bearings that didn't fit, his kit is a lowering kit, mine was a disc brake conversion kit for 60 series trucks.
