My error using the computer control to describe my 85 carburetor Rick. Again thanks for the clear easy to understand information.
My carburetor is similar to the one Chris has.
Also good to know about the pump shot. I've read a number of different things to do with this.

NBD sorry I confused you,I responded without verifying what you were working on.I usually ask year,make,model and engine. Some member on here yesterday gave me a whole ration of sh!T. Unless I'm getting a paycheck I don't need to worry if posters put up incomplete or inaccurate information. Pump shot is just controlled by an on off temperature switch. More pump shot cold, less pump shot hot. Easy to troubleshoot,also easy to not worry about. If you are concerned verify voltage to the solenoid ground the other wire and drive,remove ground and drive,see if you create a drivabilty problem.
