Sounds like I might get to buy a seat cover. LOL
LOL. NO! I never ordered a cover. I didn't know the seat was falling apart until I removed the Saddle Blanket cover that itself was falling apart. I figured I would order a cover from USA1 until I saw the metal bar was broken. Then I was like, well....a cover ain't gonna fix that.

I had an 84 good seat frame. I used the early 73-78 foam and cover. I had to get some extra foam to fill in the ends of the bottom cushion but it turned out good

GM made the normal duty seat that came in most trucks. Then they made the heavy duty seat that had firmer foam. You sat higher as you didn't sink into the foam. Unsure what the RPO code was?

I think the RPO was FAT1…
