Just getting into these trucks a little more, have an 86 c30 single cab dually, is getting power to the fuse box, but nothing to the ignition or anything except the lights and dome light. When I turn key nothing. I used a test light and had power all the way to fuse box and while I was probing the back of the fuse box I managed to apparently touch two wires together or I don't know what I did but somehow got power to all of the dash and everything and was able to turn the truck over for a second before I lost power again. Looking for advice where to check and everything like that. Thanks

What did you touch? Sounds like you inadvertently jumped power to the ignition. In my 91, ignition (switched) power is pink with a black tracer. If you find that circuit, check for continuity across the fuse to see if the fuse is blown. Wherever you were probing, you were in the vicinity.

Check the fusible links. Many posts here about them.
