I need to replace the window channel weatherstripping ony '87 V10. Do I need to take the window out or can I work around it?
Or should I let a auto glass place do it?

Did mine without taking window out. Check some YouTube videos out. Not that hard.

I did mine with the window in. I removed the bolt holding the rear metal channel so I had more room - as per this video.

I also have been watching the Brothers' how-to-videos.

Being new to square bodies, the Brothers videos have taught me a lot and answered a lot of my questions. You beat me to sharing it!!

His skin must be made of steel because I've never seen him bleed when working on the square bodies - yet I seem to get cut just looking at mine...

I just did the passenger side. It was a learning experience but those videos are a lifesaver. It's a little stiff going up and down especially at the very top. I'm hoping it will loosen up with use
