Retired career Journeyman Job shop, contract machinist. Also farm about 250 acres, (retired?) and use these old trucks every day. Yes I have a brand new GMC 2500HD, but like the old trucks better. In the process of building a new steel bldg. as a farm/machine shop. Bought a LQ4/4L80e combo that I will install in the K20. This will be a turbo motor set up for towing, and the occasional local drag. Live in central WA ST. detest the politics, love the country. Live in the Cascade mountains with not another house in sight, get plenty of snow most winters. Like practical trucks. Also have a sweet 64 nova in process (LS1/ T56 combo) swapping a C3 front end. Body work and front end almost done. Also have a 53 3/4 ton chevy farm truck that I have owned for years. Jim Meyers front, Dana 61 full floater from a 450 box van that I converted to Strange 35 spline flanged axle with SVO disk brakes, four bar.
