    Well.. this truck sat parked since 2006 with fuel in it.. So I think new tanks are practically a requirement. ;) But I definitely will play the reliability card as well. I mean, we do live on the outskirts of town.. Dont want to be stranded in the middle of nowhere.

    FYI, just checked OReilly online and my store doesnt show as having Spectra tanks.. only "Precision" brand. That said, I did come across that Spectra has an Amazon store where you can order them direct there. :) So I'll likely do that and see if Amazon can deliver without breaking the tanks. hah...

    Nice. Good info. Yeah, usually the route I go too - but I wasnt sure if maybe they sold higher quality tanks specifically or not. Their prices for the tanks suggest maybe not. Seems like Spectra is the way to go.. I'll probably have OReilly get em for me so I dont have to pay shipping. ;)

    Ah, okay - yeah I'm on the far East side of McKinney on outskirts of the DFW area as well..     Great info on the tank dropping here.. I need to do both of mine (replace both with all new parts instead of fussing with the nasty fuel and rusty mess that they are from sitting parked since 2006).
