Adrian While trying to get this sorted out you should leave it connected to manifold vacuum for sure. By the vacuum number you mentioned (around 10") and the way described it running.... you got lotsa cam. My experience in a similar situation needed 40-42 deg advance to run good, connected to...- ButchM

Jake As I recall advancing timing lowers CO, CO2 and HC. It also raises NOX but it doesn't look like they are measuring that for you. It used to be a balancing act between the four. What is this 2 prong Plug above the oil filter?
We had a new 84 K10 the Mrs drove as I was gone much of the time in the navy. One day while home, she mentioned that there a weird flashing light on the dash. He said the under hood sticker was missing. I was asking about the Service Parts Identification sticker/label that should be on the inside of the glovebox door. I will list the engine code (LT9,LS9,LE8 etc).- ButchM

Ricko is not off base with his recommendations. If you have a place that says you just need "this" (cats, or fill in the blank) to pass; you may be better off taking that route, assuming its not stupid expensive. Juke Your truck is referred to in the GM parts manuals as an "03" body (2 door fleetside). The option label in your first photo shows it has the LT9 5.7L/350 engine and C6P heavy duty chassis.
