    I've used the 3 piece bracket kit an stock core supports. It doesn't hit all the mounting holes for the grill but it enough that it stays on there. My truck has a 74 gmc grill with the same 3 brackets (just oe ones) on its factory support.

    While I haven't done it YET, I'm scared to death I'll forget the security chain around the wheel an try to drive off with it still attached. That SHOULD remind me to take the cover off too :lol:

    It'll hit the caliper first. The way they neck down inside it won't clear the brakes without the spacer on the rotor. If you pulled the calipers then it would hit the other stuff too....
