For me, I like the the original metal wiper blades. Use them for years and just buy refills. I guess parts houses don't even sell... -
I have used windshield polyurethane glue on mine. Do NOT get it on any part of your (human) body. I know of what I speak here.

Is terminal 1 only hot key on engine off? And terminal 2 constant 12v hot? If so the wiring is correct.
