Hydro Clutch Pedal Assembly...from an S10?

Good catch. Does make a big difference. But I still think it's out. Im still capable of rocking both pilot bearings ive got (LUK and Doorman) back n forth on the input shaft. In the videos ive seen where guys are installing for explaining the difference between bushings and bearings there...

Hydro Clutch Pedal Assembly...from an S10?

Well....I would say it's a little out of spec. SMH Just added that guy to my "when society collapses" list. Lets see if he honors the "warranty" this thing came with.

Hydro Clutch Pedal Assembly...from an S10?

Thanks for the tip. Ill search one out. Have a particular brand that you recommend? Any chance you know the P/N? Any time saving help like that is greatly appreciated. Looking at replacement input shafts.....gladly accepting recommendations in that regard as well.

Hydro Clutch Pedal Assembly...from an S10?

Well this crossmember started life as a W. And in order to work with my current exhaust set up....I need the "OE" W for sure. Being pushed up like that makes it hit the exhaust on the driver side. Edit: And hits in in a fashion that I could not remedy easily. Would require the reworking of...

Hydro Clutch Pedal Assembly...from an S10?

Finally found a video that shows some one slipping a pilot bearing on the shaft of a NV4500. Mine def has too much play. Just makes me sad that people are so willing to lie for a few extra dollars. Still going to mic it when I get back out to the shop this evening.....But I knew in my gut the...

Hydro Clutch Pedal Assembly...from an S10?

Im looking for one of the W cross members now but not looking very promising. So sad that the one I got with my swap was all cut up. Really wish I'd worked on or even looked at one of these trucks that hadn't been completely molested. My ignorance has been the hardest part of this swap to deal...

Hydro Clutch Pedal Assembly...from an S10?

You know....that would not surprise me. Everything about this rig was Frankensteined. Couple more hangups. The pilot bearing or bushing seems to have a good bit of play on the shaft. Its now looks to me that if the builder did replace the input shaft, it was with a used one. Looks ok I...

Hydro Clutch Pedal Assembly...from an S10?

@SquareRootMy truck is hydro. But pretty sure it was converted to such by the pervious owner. Maybe with a custom bracket or bracket from a different application. The pedal assembly had all 4 studs so im assuming it came off of a vacuum boosted truck. So....that pin/post through the pedal...

Hydro Clutch Pedal Assembly...from an S10?

Feel like I should start a new thread....but then again....maybe not. My NV4500 swap is mid swing. Probably overlooked some stuff in my haste. The flywheel I got with my swap was def for a small block. Just got the proper one. And like, I knew there was some bogus wiring in the...

Hydro Clutch Pedal Assembly...from an S10?

So....if you do have a write up on this....i would love to see it. We are likely going to be buying a k30 in the months to come and I doubt I get so lucky twice. Was your swap a 2wd swap? I think I could keep my speedo cable on a K model no? The cable inserts in the tcase I thought...

Hydro Clutch Pedal Assembly...from an S10?

So....i scored pretty big....i think. I just got this fully functional Sm465 w/ NP208 & shafts for $800 fairly local. But....it also came with this.... So....my issues are solved. I think I'm going to rebuild the assembly while its out.

Hydro Clutch Pedal Assembly...from an S10?

Howdy boys and girl. I'm super close to having my NV4500 swap ready to go. I think the last bit I'm missing is the pedal assembly. I'm aware of several "add a pedal" options and fabricating a z bar set up would not be crazy hard I'm sure.... but would really like to find the real deal that...

    ISO 4x4 NV4500 swap parts

@SquareRoot. So, dropped the core off and picked up a rebuilt unit from a local builder. Still missing some items for the swap. Need to get a new clutch / slave / throw out im pretty sure. Any thing you think I should double check? Have any recommendations on the parts I should pick up?

    ISO 4x4 NV4500 swap parts

I watched their videos. Prob the best ive seen. Watched another video where a guy made his own special deep socket. But welding is not something ive had the opportunity to learn how to do just yet. But its on the list. I do think that I will be dropping this one off with my guy and picking...
