whats every body using.. looking for a new stereo head unit

Finally found some 5x5 Turbines!!!
I think what you're going to find once you try to install them is the lug nut holes are elongated from t the wheel coming loose and wobbling causing some washer areas to be deeper than others. I had purchased a set of wheels like that and had to have steel insets installed. There are more posts...- 1STLS1

What have you done to your square lately??
It was a first time for me, in the past I did it the same as you did but knew there had to be a better way. After the second soaking for about 3 hours, cleaned them up, wiped them down with metal prep which I believe turned anything left in to iron phosphate and used etching primer. I will paint... -

The floors in my truck had deeply pitted surface rust from sitting with moisture under the carpet for a long time. I had tried wire brushes in a drill, various angle grinder discs and none really did a great job . All made a huge mess and required wearing a dust mask and washing up when done... -

A third vote for adapting a OEM one. They don't exactly give them away at the salvage yard, I paid $250 at a pick a part a couple years ago with alternator, a/c compressor and power steering pump.
